In 1952, four women who worked at the wartime code-breaking center, Bletchley Park, reunite to track down a serial killer.  A three part mini-series, this is the best thing I have watched in a long time.

Lagenlook jumper and chucks

I found the orange linen jumper in a thrift shop. It was a size 3X or so, so I took in about 8 inches on either side. I found the converse that not only are leopard patterned but sequined! Huzzah! I'm ready for the Hunter's Moon.

Old as Dirt

It's official. I am as old as dirt because I think the semi-tuck fashion looks as stupid as wearing your baseball cap backwards (or worse, sideways).

There is a big kerfuffle going on because there are people who want to change the lyrics of the national anthem from "all thy sons command" to all of us command". I'm for it. Originally it was: 

 Weir's original lyrics from 1908 contained no religious references and used the phrase "thou dost in us command" before they were changed by Weir in 1914 to read "in all thy sons command". (wikipedia)

Wilmer Week (part 1)

Once again Sebastian and Jill Bell have opened their home at the quaint and quirky Delphine Lodge to artists of the Columbia Valley. Retired as a bed and breakfast, the Delphine has become an artist retreat for a week in September.

I was asked to teach three days of the workshop. A group of 10-12 students were treated to some of the best weather we have had in 2013 as we moved around the area painting en plein air.
