One hour sketch

I'm impatiently waiting. I had my pastel drawings sent to my Montana shipping address. It is generally easier to have things shipped there and then I go down every 2 0r 3 months and pick up a number of items. Having things from the states shipped to Canada takes a long time and there is a charge for clearing customs. Plus, driving to Eureka is a nice trip and they have a great little 50's style diner, the Jax Cafe. Try the squash soup, it's fab!

Margaret Dyer Workshop

I am very pleased with the instructor, Margaret Dyer. Check out her website--she does beautiful figures. We are working in pastels, not my usual medium and pretty challenging. This is definitely one field were you need really good materials, pastels and paper. I am a little lacking in both but still learning a lot. Sedona art center is great. We are staying at the Days inn Sedona, which I will also recommend.

Autumn Path

This is a little pastel I made in the Susan Woolgar class. I am going to try to cut a matt for it and put it in one of my 16x20 metal frames. I wish pastel wasn't so fragile and dirty.
