I liked his authoritive stance and his shock of white hair. You wouldn't "cry wolf" around Bert but you knew he would fish you out of deep water if necessary. I would like to try this painting in a larger format.

Starting to look like Spring

Finally, finally, it is starting to warm up here. After a month of thaw, and snow and thaw and snow, the plants are starting to bud, Hooray!!
