No LBD's for Christmas please

There is a time and place for the little black dress but I'm thinking...

 

Am I the only one with a dislike of black dresses for the holiday season? I don't care how slimming/sophisticated/etc. they are...

All purpose black dress

This is the all purpose black dress I bought for what I had hoped would be mayoral events and funerals. I have never had occasion to wear it for either one!! But, it is still a good dress. I tried to go a little bohemian with the turquoise jewelry (love my navajo design trinkets) and the violet tights. And still snow under foot.

Does anyone else like to listen to World music?. I have been grooving away to it while I scrub walls (spring cleaning and all that).
