Cloudy with a chance of frustration (and fear!)

After a whirlwind couple of week, with art events and company, I am finally catcing my breath. I have worked darn hard this summer with little financial success. My writer friend insists the making of the work is still important. I hope she is right.

Oh well, the best way I know to get over visitor post partem and artist wobblies is...house cleaning! Dust buffaloes beware!!

Your birds are lovely. Success will come. I often look at seasons like this as 'building stock' time.

Lovely clouds... hope you feel sunny soon!

I can imagine your frustration, Paula. I think that is why I would never venture to sell my pieces. 'Course, I don't have your talent either, but ei yi yi! The rejection! I've had enough of that in my life. (You are witnessing one of the closing down and turning inward moments, live and in person. Hmmm...)

Anyway, continue to believe in yourself because I sure do. You have a unique and beautiful style and now a lovely gallery of your own! Fabulous!!

R and Sherry, thanks for the moral support. R, cool, interesting paintings!! Sherry, I keep reminding myself of Babe Ruth striking out or Stephen King and his big railroad spike full of rejection slips.

Hang in there Paula, sales are down for everyone I know this past while, just a bump. Paint on sister!
