I spotted this lovely fellow grazing near the river when I went to pick Kirra up from the kennel. I hope he heads for the hills because it is nearly hunting season. I know they need to cull the herds to keep them from overpopulating and starving (and we have many, many deer) but I hope no one I "know" gets it.

Buck Fever
I spotted this lovely fellow grazing near the river when I went to pick Kirra up from the kennel. I hope he heads for the hills because it is nearly hunting season. My sentiments exactly. Living on our land we get to know some of the local deer from year to year.
Wow...what a beautiful buck. Hope he makes it through the hunting season.
