Belting one back!

 I have this concha belt that I have had for years. I still love it but it doesn't fit anymore. I had tried having belts lenthened at the shoe repair store at minimal success and too much expense. For this belt I decided to cut off the buckles and glue (using shoe-goo) the original belt to another larger belt.

Voila! Worked like a hot darn.

Bruce and I went to the Sandpoint, Idaho Draft horse and Mule show. It is a great horse event.

I bought raffle tickets on Emmaline, a lovely yearling mule. Bruce is giving her pointers on how to be STUBBORN.

Flying Tunes

This was a commission I just finished. I am rather pleased with it. I must learn to photograph better because the painting is much nicer than the photo. I thought my lovely model took on a legendary aspect becoming goddess like.

Liking lagenlook

I like the lagenlook style. I don't have the money to buy some of the really cool outfits so I am trying to make some components. I altered a Butterick pattern B5045. I had to take in the front by about 2 inches. I also scooped out the hemline. I like the big baggy pockets. I was hunting for a) my tripod to take the photo and b) my necklace to fill in the neckline and wasn't able to find either! Sometimes, I swear I am living in a Bermuda triangle like vortex. The more I want to find something, the more apt it is to just disappear. (Note to self, take the time to put on a little make-up, you look rough!!)
