Belting one back!

I have this concha belt that I have had for years. I still love it but it doesn't fit anymore. I had tried having belts lenthened at the shoe repair store at minimal success and too much expense. For this belt I decided to cut off the buckles and glue (using shoe-goo) the original belt to another larger belt.

Voila! Worked like a hot darn.

Now go check out what they are doing at Visible Monday:  http://notdeadyetstyle.blogspot.ca/2012/09/visible-monday-66-september-lace.html

OOh! and don't forget Plaidurday:  http://plaidurday.com/celebrate

I'm going to wear this....

Not only is this a cool idea, I am so stealing your expression "works like a hot darn". Great to see you, thanks for linking up to Visible Monday.

What a great idea! I have several belts that have shrunk on me. I'll have to re-look at them and see what I might be able to do now that my mind has been expanded. Thanks.

Pao, I love the idea that belts can shrink.

Nicely done! Thanks for the Plaidurday reminder, too.

That is a great idea. Belts must be evil to shrink on us. Mine seem to do it with great regularity. Great outfit as is the plaid skirt.
