Liking lagenlook

I like the lagenlook style. I don't have the money to buy some of the really cool outfits so I am trying to make some components. I altered a Butterick pattern B5045. I had to take in the front by about 2 inches. I also scooped out the hemline. I like the big baggy pockets. I was hunting for a) my tripod to take the photo and b) my necklace to fill in the neckline and wasn't able to find either! Sometimes, I swear I am living in a Bermuda triangle like vortex. The more I want to find something, the more apt it is to just disappear. (Note to self, take the time to put on a little make-up, you look rough!!) If you check out my "I like Lagenlook" board at pinterest, you will see what I am aiming for.

Well, I love the natural look. And who likes to put on make up before getting creative? I don't. If I'm feeling an urge to create art I have to run to it or I may lose it.

I think what you did to this pattern really modernized it with the shape. It's really cute!
