I saw this dresser in a decorating magazine several years back and always thought it was cool. If I ever come across a suitable dresser at the dump, I may try this technique.

I love this cabinet. Over the years I've incorporated words and language into many paintings and pieces of painted furniture. Though it's not the fad it was for a bit in the 90's, it can still be done with style and panache.
