I may be slow but I get there. Inspired by Melanie's beautiful ballerina skirt on Bag and a Beret: http://bagandaberet.blogspot.ca/2012/10/everyone-needs-ballerina-dress.html I decided to photograph my own version. In front of my studio with a cuppa to warm me. There is also a great post on tulle skirts at: http://vintagebirdgirl.blogspot.ca/2012/10/tulle-teacups-turquoise.html

Yay, you did the tulle and teacup! I did the teacup, at least (don't have any tulle).
I love your red styling of it - gorgeous!
That is the cutest picture ever!!
Wow, look at you -- fabulous mix of fur and tulle and tea! Thanks for sharing your fine look with Visible Monday.
Oh my heavens.... how I absolutely LOve this!!! What an extraordinarily creative tulle post!!! huge kudos my dear!!!
This is an absolutely amazing combination! I LOVE it! The plaid, the tulle, the fur, the teacup...brilliant!
Oh, I just noticed...that's not tea in your cup, is it? haha
And if you have lace up boots on under that skirt it's just going to send me over the edge. I can't tell. It's probably better that I don't know. :)
OMG, sorry for the multiple comments. I forgot to mention that I'd love to be entered in the drawing for one of your paintings.
I'm late to the party too, but you have arrived right on time. I love this meme and the beautiful ladies who rock the tulle.
Yay for joining the Non-Twee Tulle and Tea Club!!! I absolutely LOVE your outfit from top to toe! xo
What a gorgeous outfit! I'm so glad I've just discovered your lovely blog :)
Glorious in that red tutu, ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Very cute, well done!
Love that red tutu skirt
Great look!
Lisa,
you are a sharp eyed girl. I wondered when someone would spot my bottle of peach schnapps. My Dad always kept a mickey of it in the freezer to quench his thirst when he came in from mowing. My daughter just re-introduced me to it when she ordered a shot in memory of Grandpa. It is rather pleasant stuff.
Yup, those are my heavy duty lace-up winter booties under the crinoline.
I love this, so nice!!
The outfit is awesome - so 'you'. The thing I like most is the twinkle in your eyes peeking out under the fur hat!! You go, girl!
BTW, would love-love a print!!
Perfection. Would make a lovely Christmas card as well, don't you think? I agree with whomever said, it's never too late for tulle. And I do believe you're the first one in red! Cheers.
You look stunning! I love that whimsical look!
Your picture is as much a work of art as your outfit. When I first looked at the picte, I thought..yeah, the something to warm you up was in the bottle! This would make for a great painting too!
I would love to win one of your prints, count me in.
HOly Cow! Praise from Bella Q, Sacramento, Ariane and Desiree!!. I have arrived. Color me happy.
Here'e the narrative: Laura (in Dr. Zhivago) does NOT die in the revolution but makes her way to the Yukon Territories and symbolically re-unites with Yuri via a tempestuous relationship with his hotter, handsomer, richer cousin. Here she is, waiting for him to return home from their gold mine.
You really look adorable.
Jan, I'm liking the scenario!
Whoa - this is one awesome photo! I LOVE you in this - and that lovely little bottle in the background give this scene a perfect touch of naugtiness, especially with such an exquisite teacup. Fantastic. You made my morning.
you look great in your red tulle! particularly with the redandblack lumberjack shirt.
Love it! I swear, Red Green is lusting for ya darlin'! I've been on holiday for a few weeks, and this is a great welcome home.
Would love one of your paintings! Count me in please.
