Better Late than Never: Tulle and a teacup

I may be slow but I get there. Inspired by Melanie's beautiful ballerina skirt on Bag and a Beret:  http://bagandaberet.blogspot.ca/2012/10/everyone-needs-ballerina-dress.html I decided to photograph my own version. In front of my studio with a cuppa to warm me. There is also a great post on tulle skirts at:  http://vintagebirdgirl.blogspot.ca/2012/10/tulle-teacups-turquoise.html

**CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY!**
If anyone would like to win a 8x10 matted print of one of my paintings, just leave a comment and mention you would like a print. You can choose from any print that I have blogged. I will draw names out of my furry hat on Dec. 16th.

Yay, you did the tulle and teacup! I did the teacup, at least (don't have any tulle).

I love your red styling of it - gorgeous!

This is an absolutely amazing combination! I LOVE it! The plaid, the tulle, the fur, the teacup...brilliant!

Oh, I just noticed...that's not tea in your cup, is it? haha
And if you have lace up boots on under that skirt it's just going to send me over the edge. I can't tell. It's probably better that I don't know. :)

OMG, sorry for the multiple comments. I forgot to mention that I'd love to be entered in the drawing for one of your paintings.

I'm late to the party too, but you have arrived right on time. I love this meme and the beautiful ladies who rock the tulle.

Lisa,
you are a sharp eyed girl. I wondered when someone would spot my bottle of peach schnapps. My Dad always kept a mickey of it in the freezer to quench his thirst when he came in from mowing. My daughter just re-introduced me to it when she ordered a shot in memory of Grandpa. It is rather pleasant stuff.

Yup, those are my heavy duty lace-up winter booties under the crinoline.

The outfit is awesome - so 'you'. The thing I like most is the twinkle in your eyes peeking out under the fur hat!! You go, girl!
BTW, would love-love a print!!

Perfection. Would make a lovely Christmas card as well, don't you think? I agree with whomever said, it's never too late for tulle. And I do believe you're the first one in red! Cheers.

Your picture is as much a work of art as your outfit. When I first looked at the picte, I thought..yeah, the something to warm you up was in the bottle! This would make for a great painting too!

I would love to win one of your prints, count me in.

Here'e the narrative: Laura (in Dr. Zhivago) does NOT die in the revolution but makes her way to the Yukon Territories and symbolically re-unites with Yuri via a tempestuous relationship with his hotter, handsomer, richer cousin. Here she is, waiting for him to return home from their gold mine.

You really look adorable.
