One of the coolest things I have ever done was to take a course in building Cob houses on Mayne Island through Cobworks: http://www.cobworks.com/
They are simple but very labor intensive.
I feel like I could build my own shelter if I ever really needed to.
The work we achieved in four days.
The finished community garden centre.
The results can be quite glorious.
So organic. I would love to have my own.
