I want to acknowledge the passing of two fine women. I just received word that Sharon Jonas has passed away.Sharon was a fine watercolor painter who lived a few miles north. She was wonderfully kind and welcoming to me when I arrived in the valley.
Monique Dubois was killed in a vehicle accident about two weeks ago. I didn't know her as well but she was the manger of Key City Theatre Gallery and had done so much for the arts community.
Their passing leaves a great hole in the arts of the valley.
