Another Sheep painting

I seem to be in a painter's block slump. It's depressing and rather irritating. I can't settle on anything I want to paint or how I want to paint it. To try to get unstuck, I am making more abstract work just to keep the brush moving. It makes me think of the Hemingway quote, ""There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed."

I'm feeling hugely guilty that I haven't been painting more. That is the instigation that a blog has. This was a little slap-up, warm-up painting inspired by a Burridge DVD.

I am working on the sheep picture and have the major elements blocked in. I am not happy with the color scheme yet and will tweek it some more.
