Doris Cox was born on May 28th. I am a little late to mark her birthday but I wanted to post this recently discovered picture of her. I'm intrigued by the effect of this painted photo. It may help to explain why I love to paint redheads. It has been nearly 25 years since she passed away and I miss still.

I miss her too! This lovely photo brings back so many tears for it has stored many memories within.
