I was pleased to see Canada represented in the Royal Flotilla by a canoe full of voyageurs.

I reglued this lovely shabby chic frame and put this fine vintage print of the queen into it. The matt is actually a nice pewter color (not so green!!) She watches over me while I paint. I am too much of an American/Canadian to really appreciate the monarchy (God given rights my arse) but I do love the British splendor. They certainly know how to do it right.
