I really like O'Keeffe and Cher, but
I prefer O'Keeffe's strong, weathered, natural face to Cher's overly
manipulated plastic surgery. Women shouldn't look like they have been left in
the micro-wave.

LOL @ left in the microwave! Cher is an icon, and her look works for her, I think - but not as a model for me! I, too, am more inspired by Ms. O'Keefe.
Love your painting, "Canasta". Just the word brings back so many fond memories.
I had to chuckle over over your Cher comment, I agree, no one should look like they've been in a microwave!
Also, I see a big difference in that second picture with the dress hemmed a bit. Looks great!

Those ladies on the beach look like they know how to have fun! Love your work!
Hi, Just went to my blog and there, unexpectedly was your comment.
I am a year into this blog world. While I enjoy it as a way of documenting our little valley, I have been somewhat surprised at how much I enjoy the comments. So thank you very much for taking the time to post one. And thanks for letting me know that Jack is not the only pea-eating dog in the world.
I came here to your blog, and loved it. Love how you are not afraid to put yourself out there in words, pictures and paintings.
Your post makes me smile! Thank you! -Marci
