I saw this little East Indian outfit at the thrift store.
And this is how I styled it. It has been to an art reception and a chamber music concert. Lots of sparkle for a small investment.

I want to thank all you older fashion bloggers out there for showing me great new ways to dress. I love seeing REAL people and not just some skinny, grey-haired, ex-model... like I could relate to that!! I wish the fashion industry would get a freaking clue.

It has just the right amount of sparkle. You look great in it! -Marci
Love this sparkle, and it's a gorgeous color too. And I agree about real life bloggers, they have taught me more than a hundred magazines. Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday!
That is super cute! I love India inspired clothing. Sounds like you had a great place to wear it.
I've stopped buying magazines once I started following blogs. They're so much more "real" and visually satisfying. ;)
That is creative, I wouldn't have thought to put a skirt with that, but it looks very nice.
Gorgeous color on you!
Wow, that outfit is beautiful! The top is blingtastic! (I love me some bling.)
I totally agree about real style bloggers. Maybe we don't fit the "current fashion" but we are certainly stylish and that is way more important to me.
HOW beautiful! LOVE the embroidery and the beading on this top!
XOXO
