Yesterday, I discovered a whole genre of blogs dedicated to vintage fashion such as "It'll take the snap out of your garters" and "Jitterbug Doll". Dangerous stuff, I could spend hours looking and drooling at these clothes. And then I just want to sew vintage fashions that I would wear to....?? I admire the ladies that don their good stuff and wear it with pride, thumbing their noses at the establishment.I spent the day working on a muslin for the glamour girl pattern I am working on. I use cheap material from the thrift store trying out the pattern first, before cutting into the good stuff (having learned the hard way). Today, sewing commences....Oh, and I need to get some painting done.
