Happy Ground Hog's Day! or Imbolc!

Much to Bruce's joy, his image is now on the poster for the "CAbin Fever" show in Kimberley. I invite you to attend the reception on Saturday, Feb. 5 from 1-3 pm.

Looks like we will have six more weeks of winter. It's bright and cold (-28C yesterday). Things should be warmer from now on. Imbolc is an old celtic holiday that marked the beginning of the end of winter. Things are beginning to stir deep underground and the sheep begin to lactate. I just noticed that it is (finally) starting to get lighter earlier in the mornings and stays light until nearly 6 pm. YAY!!

Congratulations on one of your pieces becoming the poster image for this show, Paula. I was wondering how Bruce felt about this! LOL Still and yet, it is a fabulous painting and I still say his expression is priceless! Here in the U. S. apparently Phil didn't see his shadow so supposedly spring is coming sooner rather than later. Couldn't prove it by us right now. We got about 15 inches of new snow!
