green skull 8x10 $125This isn't really a sugar skull but its inspired by sugar skulls. I would love to go to Mexico one of these years and witness the Day of the Dead ceremonies.

Day of the Dead ceremonies is exactly what I thought of when I saw this piece, Paula. I believe there is somewhere in CA that does a big art show dedicated to this "celebration." I used to follow an artist who always had a display up for it.
I love your skull drawing; so festive! I too, would love to see the real festival in Mexico. someday, I hope!
