I made dozens of sketches when I was at Red Deer Summer Art Series this summer. It seem a shame to waste all that effort so I have been trying to turn some of the sketches into painting/collages. I like their sense of immediacy and maybe truthfulness.I want to know what you think and I want you to suggest a title.

What to do with a life drawing?

Oddly enough, words escape me for a title on this piece. Reflections of My Life, a song of old, came to mind when I saw this though. I so love that song!! By the way, love your idea and this is a fabulous example of proper proportions and a lovely human form.
there is nothing fresher than the sketch done on-site, whether it be a figure, a flower or a frozen landscape. immediacy and truth, indeed. mild distortions and re-thinking lines tell more than the story of the subject. you're a recycler after my heart, paula, so please continue along this thread. you might call these revamped figure studies your alabaster series.
Thanks for the support. I don't quite know why but I like these a lot. I just have to figure out how to make them work as paintings.
