Accordian Man

This is one of my entries for the "Faces of Kimberley" show. Kimberley has an accordian festival every year and this year I am going to go get photos. This gentleman was sitting outside the mining museum entrance last year playing away for himself and anyone else's enjoyment. I have always wanted to learn to play an accordian. Then I could be a busker!

I liked his sporty white shoes. It was a challenge making them dark enough to not compete with his crisp white shirt.

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting! Your painting here is wonderful--his hand is amazing. Great job! I always thought it would be fun to be a busker, too. (Too bad I can't sing at all, eh?!)

Paula, I so love when you do paintings such as this one (and the lady having tea). You have quite an artistic muscle with an ability to do several styles of art. This is fabulous and I can almost see this man sitting here across from me. He looks like he has a fabulous fun personality too! Love the white shoes and the cuffed pants.
