Still miss her!

This is a photo of my mother taken during the war years near Galveston. I like the butterfly detail on her dress. Today was her birthday.

This is an inspirational caravan re-decorating: http://happylovesrosie.blogspot.com/2009/08/vintage-caravan-done.html

Paula, your mom is so beautiful, so elegant and sophisticated! What a gorgeous photograph, one that you could paint and add touches of soft color to...It would be a beautiful piece and a fine testament to your mom. I loved seeing the inside of that little camper redecorated. I agree with her on the use of white; it is like a blank canvas and allows you to add color with accessories! I could so live in that little thing, and quite happily, I might add! I am always amazed when people find fabrics and accessories of different patterns and colors and make them work together so beautifully. That little caravan redo is exactly an example of that being done well!

Guys, you are too kind. My Mom would have been over the moon with such feedback.

A lovely picture of your mom and reminiscent of ones of my mom about the same time. She passed last October and we are about to have a tea in her memory this coming Sat.
I hope your mom had a long and good life and we will always remember them.
