The good stuff

I use Murphy oil soap to clean my brushes. It gets the paint out and actually seems to soften and condition the brush hairs. It can even rescue a brush that has nearly dried out.. I just stick the brush into water and soap for a day and scrub the heck out of it. Oh, and it's good to clean furniture with too. (As if anyone ever does that!)

Great tip! I'm always looking for something to take paint out of my brushes! Why can't I learn to take better care of them?

Are you using it to clean oil paint from brushes?

I work in acrylic. I don't know if it will take the paint out of oil brushes but you could use it to condition the brushes after you had stripped them of oil.
