W is for waxwing

"An artist feels vulnerable to begin with; and yet the only answer is to recklessly discard more armour." Eric Maisel

I find waxwings such distinguished looking birds. I love to watch them work their way through a mountain sumac when the berries have "fermented". They have an awfully good time.

I love this Paula. You should join FineArtAmerica.com so I can buy some notecards with these images like these.

As for your brother.... I think brothers are born to bother sisters. It could also mean he is a little envious with your talent. hugs!

Ooh, what a neat looking bird! I think I've heard of 'waxwings' before but definitely wasn't familiar with them. They remind me of a bluejay or a cardinal with different coloring.

So glad to know that yesterday came through as a breath of fresh air just after the rains for you. I can well relate to the feelings you mentioned in your comments.

I love this, too. But then I love collage and this is a fine piece.
