Woo-Hoo--look at those spirals! That already makes it a successful painting!
But, really, what a nice painting. Her anticipation is so evident. I can relate to that!
I have a weakness for redheads. I love the composition of this and her happy anticipation of getting that frozen treat.
My mother had beautiful flaming red hair. I am always drawn to redheads and terrific freckles. I think it's such a shame so many women have felt that they need to cover them up, they are lovely and becoming rare.
